Powering Agriculture MOOC—Sustainable Energy for Food

Dr. Ryan Shelby, Program Manager for PAEGC at USAID, and Frida Rodhe, Program officer for SIDA, describe how the new, free Powering Agriculture: An Energy Grand Challenge for Development (PAEGC) Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) allows people at all levels of expertise and influence to understand and share information on the technologies, systems, and innovations at the intersection of energy and agriculture.

The PAEGC MOOC, "Powering Agriculture—Sustainable Energy for Food," is an 8-week course introducing challenges and solutions for sustainable energy use in the agriculture and food industry. The MOOC has been developed in cooperation with TH Köln – University of Applied Sciences.
