About Powering Agriculture

Powering Agriculture: An Energy Grand Challenge for Development supports the development and deployment of clean energy innovations that increase agriculture productivity and stimulate low carbon economic growth in the agriculture sector of developing countries to help end extreme poverty and extreme hunger.

In November, Southern California Edison's Thermal Test Center began third party validation testing of an IcePoint™ demonstration unit funded by the National Science Foundation. Once testing is completed, the Thermal Test Center staff will publish a report and distribute via the Emerging Technologies Coordinating Council. Collaborating with SCE provides Rebound the opportunity to validate IcePoint™ cooling performance in various climate conditions.
