A project supported by the Institute for University Cooperation has just installed four new solar photovoltaic units in Azraq, Jordan where they will provide clean power to run water pumps for farms.

On April 5th 2016, ICU will host the first of the three workshops on PV-integrated irrigation systems in Lebanon and Jordan. This workshop will benefit local farmers and cooperatives, as it will focus on the use of solar energy in modern irrigation systems, and how to get subsidized energy credits.
